Because ole miss had the 110th ranked defense
Arky had the 75th
And A&M had the 92nd ranked defense

Les would have beat the brakes off those teams as well. We never had trouble running through teams with horrible defenses

you are fricking insane lol...so he started off 2-2 and would have only lost 1 game the rest of the way?

Yall CLM supporters need to get over it...a dline/tecoach took over and had the team playing at a level we haven't seen in years

Les Miles was simply not a good coach. He rode the coattails of what Saban did. He did not adapt. When he couldn't physically outmatch a team, they lost. Hence, the reason he is still unemployed. We need to realize that while he was/is a great man, he is a mediocre/average coach

Because those teams were awful against the run. Last year's arky and Ole miss were much better than this years

No, he would've lost 2. Just like O.

I'm not a Les miles supporter. The team most likely wouldn't have looked as impressive, but we still would've beaten the same teams O beat.

based on what?

We have 2 first round NFL RB's (that Miles recruited) and Arkansas' run defense is horrendous, Ole Miss' run defense is horrendous, A&M's run defense is horrendous. I see no reason to think a coach that preferred to run the ball would have done worse against those teams.

Wasn't O 2-2 in November

MASSIVE improvement there

Now you just sound stupid comparing two different year teams. Miles coached this exact same team to ineptness and if you can't give O credit for improving the team this year you're either too biased to be objective or a soccer fan. Either of which strips you of any credibility.

Was ready for Miles to go, it is not, however about Miles vs O. It is about we wanted a change to get back to Championship level. Not improve over some cherry picked, random amount of games.

go check out the 2015 Auburn, Florida and South Carolina games the stats vs USCe were basically the same as vs A&M last week. Vs USCe Fournette and Guice combined for 36-319-2 vs A&M Guice had 37-285-4

I don't know what soccer has to do with anything

The problem here is the O fans are so desperate to tout their guy, they are clinging to meaningless anecdotes to try and paint people into a corner so you can go AH HA, SEE. If you get an F on one test and a C on the next, you improved, is that good? Not really, so "improving" from the end of Miles was not the end goal of removing him. Getting back to title contention was. Can O do that? I'm pessimistic based on his record. He "improved" as an IHC from his disaster at OM, but that the end of the day he is 11-4 as IHC, with 1 quality win (Stanford at USC) and 4 loses to quality teams, including the 3 biggest games for USC (Notre Dame, UCLA) and LSU.

No, he would have lost two gsmes, just like O

Do you think it is a coincidence both coaches lost the only two games they played against defenses with a pulse?

Thank you for not starting another thread. But yes, Orgeron was .500 in his four games at the end of the season.

That Florida game shouldn't have been closer either. That is the kind of opponent a team with their shite together beats by 2-3 touchdowns.
