Don't worry guys, it'll be ok, i'm sure Les Miles, and Pelini realizes the pros/cons of Pelini coaching in the NC game while Nebraska is waiting for him. They don't need anyone to tell them this. I wanted Pelini gone because I wasn't impressed with the way he gave up the blitz midway through the season, but you can bet Pelini will make the most of this opportunity and will be 100% focused on January 7th.

OK, let's say Bo does coach LSU's defense in the MNC. Les will be wearing his high-top LSU hat on the sidelines. Will Bo be wearing his BIG RED N hat on the sidelines? Will he be wearing purple and gold or Nebraska red?

If you are no longer a part of the team, then you should not be participating in the gameplan. Bo will not be accoutable for the defense after the game is over. The DC needs to be someone that can be held accountable if he screws up.

Actually this is Pelini's bread and butter. Big 10 football.

Pelini has coached more in the Big 12 and SEC, so that's statement really makes no sense.

I dont care if Bo wears a red tutu on the sidelines as long as he get the tigers prepared and LSU kicks some buckeye arse!

Really?

Richt left FSU in 2000 and still tried to coach the nc game - their offense floundered.

Mike Stoops left OU in 2003 before the Big 12 championship - and they suffered there on out.

There's several others.

There are positives and negatives to each situation. Just can't decide which is better or worse...

Also, Cutcliffe left Tennessee in 1998... Worked out for them.
