Laura Rutledge (SECN) on SXM Full Ride: O Has "Maybe a 40% Chance"

Caught the end of her call-in segment this morning, with Rick Neuheisel mentioning her going to BR for SEC Nation tomorrow and then to College Station for Thanksgiving. Coach mentioned the coaching search and asked her for her two cents.

Her response sounded like what someone would say who didn't have much info to go on, so it was mostly her opinion FWIW ("didn't think there was a chance of O getting job when first named interim, but I'd put it at 40% now", to paraphrase one comment).

What she did say that I thought was interesting was IRT the administration. She said something to the effect that, "I think the school is inclined to hire a top-level coach", and that doesn't jibe w/ hiring O; finished by saying, "If not Tom Herman, then I can see"...them going w/O (and, yes, no mention of Jimbo).

Again, take it FWIW, just thought I'd add to the conversation.
