Not gonna win a National Championship.
I bet he's just as tired of hearing, "what has he won?" as the rest of us.
You have given all the reasons on why Lane will not come here.
If he does pull the trigger and leave for LSU or UF, why do you think he will have chosen to do so?

If Lane does come to LSU, can we ban the ones stating with certainty that he is not coming? Most of them are calling for bans of the “Lane is a done deal” guys. Seems fair.

Best idea I've seen on the internet.

I just confirmed with my source. My wife says dinner is at 6:30. She had no comment on where Lane is going.

Dude has 3 posts and his name is Zaddy.
I’m guessing you’re between 17-21.
And for those reasons I believe you!!!

That’s what she told me too, so we had to meet for lunch instead.

Roger....
Are you going to respond to my question?
A sign of intelligence and emotional stability is the ability to hold two competing thoughts in one's brain.
Let me show you how it is done...
Why would Lane stay at OM?
-He likes it there
-He feels he can accomplish his goals there
-Maybe he has grown complacent and doesn't want change
-He fears a new challenge and getting fired sooner
(I am giving examples and will not argue for them)
Why would Lane leave for LSU or UF?
-Feels he can not just make the playoffs but can win championships because he can build more talented and deeper rosters(this if backed by facts looking at the 247 Sports Talent Composite)
-Looks at the program as a Tier above OM
-Wants to be part of a bigger program, with more fans, bigger stadium, and a bigger brand
-Thinks coming to one of these programs will give himself a better chance to become a coach in the conversation of being one of the bests ever.
-Looking for a new challenge
-More NIL revenue
Again, you have be adamant that he would not come here for reasons listed.
Why would he if you had to argue for it?

What did I say that wasn’t true?? I didn’t say he signed a contract and would be in Death Valley Saturday night lol

yeah I'm sure he really cares about what his 20yo daughter's impulses are due to a 2-month fling
Posted on 11/19/25 at 2:33 pm to RogerTheShrubber
If Lane's daughter, Landry is pushing her dad to come to BR, Witt must be really smoking her holes. It's a Win Win for LSU!!!!!!!!!!

She sure got him to not take the Auburn job

Ha.
You are very sure of your position and not open to anyone challenging it.
Which, given your overall post history on a range of topics, somewhat surprises me.
None of us knows what Kiffin wants for himself. I can see a multitude of reasons for him to chose each school.
I am surprised you are not open to such conclusions.

I'm fine with Lane to LSU. Its just going to ramp up the pressure on him a lot more than at OM.
Without a championship, LSU is a 3- 4-year job in the NIL era, apparently.

Of course I am. Lane can make as much money at OM, and win less. Thats a given.

Wrong
Expectations are playoffs and a chance to win the NC
