I don't believe anything I read on this board anymore. If it happens then congrats, but until then, I'll just choose not to believe everything I read. After all the people with sources during the head coach search, no thanks.

I have not heard that at all.
All I have heard is O still wants Kiffin but does not expected him as of yesterday . Interviews behind the scenes have been taking place since O got the job.
I have not heard any solid name as a number 2. From I have heard Texas recruit was a very valued attribute. That is why I believe after Kiffin it's a Briles disciple. Sorry I can't give more than that.
My guy has not been directly involved in this search.

Yes. I was told Kiffin believed he had the Houston job. I have not heard anything new since this. I was under the impression O was moving on.
Completely speculating on this but O may have given him a deadline for a decision. I can't see O waiting until after the bowl game if it's not Kiffin. However, many contracts buyouts drop after the season. The dead period is about to start so it may be worth it to wait. This would hurt on early enrollees like Akers (which I believe is an important get)
Gilbert and Helfrich are open so if it is one of them it should be quick. If I hear anything hard, ill definitely post.

Riley isn't gonna happen I don't think. Would Canada fit in the Deep South ? No recruiting ties anywhere near Lsu grounds.. What do u think about helfrich? Been on some dynamic offensive staffs and a good qb guru??

Why do people keep posting about the deep south? What had Saban done down here before he came to LSU? Where did Urban Meyer get his deep south ties before Florida? How about Miles? A Michigan Man who recruited Louisiana as well as anyone. It's just nonsense. Stop it.
