From what I’ve been told it’s $8 million for any team not on our schedule in the next 5 seasons. $10 million for any program we play in the next 5 years, $16 million if it’s an SEC East school and $20 million if it’s a West school.
That’s the current contract that was signed in January but those numbers carried over from the initial contract he signed when we hired him

If that were true that would have come out via legitimate sources and he also wouldn’t have been calling Woodward trying to get the job

They just bellied up 27m to get rid of O and co. 2 years after a Natty, plus are offering 10+ million a year for the head coach. I’m sure if they want him, they will pay up.
Let’s not forget once Ou, and TU enter the league, the tv contracts will go up BIG TIME!! JW is playing with big money. The ESPN/SEC Network money will be off the charts. A Kiffin buyout won’t really be a big deal.

I can't find details on it, but a reminder that most people here get the buyout numbers backwards. It's typically not that significant if a coach leaves willingly.
The big scary numbers are usually if the school fires the coach.
