I think they are upset because they know their brief moment in the spotlight has come to an end and they will once again be relegated to an after thought in college football.

They are pretty much an after thought right now. They have had record breaking success for multiple years in a row now, and the stadium is still empty.

When I got in the truck this morning RP3 was talking about ULL getting into a NY6 bowl game this year. I wish I would have caught this magic scenario break down he was talking about where this could happen, but I missed it. I'm just this would have been the most out there out of all the takes.

Well, he carried RP3, especially when it came to college football. If you know him, where did he go?

Nick Dias (not "z") left to work on his YouTube channel full time and also produces for LSU Sports radio. Outta My League is his channel.

Don't listen to that shitbox @CleanSlate - he doesn't know Nick.

You can claim anything you want, but the more you spew the more I can tell it's bullshite. Your "facts" are 100% wrong.

This must be Nick, what’s up man how you been? If this isn’t Nick then how would you be so certain I was lying? I was told he went to grad school by my work that he used to intern at. If it’s incorrect I apologize, just what I was told. I can’t really provide you with facts. I have his phone number but I’m not posting that

If you're in to podcasts, you should check out Drunk on a Bucket. We are based in Lafayette and put out a weekly show centered around sports news (mostly LSU and Saints, but hit on national news as well) and other BS. Just an FYI, it is a NSFW listen. We all have our own bias, but the takes you posted are particularly bad

There is definitely a type of ULL fan that is very pleased Napier didn’t go to LSU.

LSU/Florida games going forward will be bigger than ULL games in those households.

Lafayette started turning their backs on LSU a few years ago after USL’s first bowl win. Merchandise pulled from a lot of the stores and so on. I remember USL walking out during class to protest the Tiger Sandwich at a Burger King near campus. Professors and all. Screw USL

So effing glad Bargain Bin Billy didn't even sniff an interview with LSU. He was trying to harness the exact same fan sentiment and local media influence that Ed used. The sad thing is that the same low-T fans bought into it and had Alleva been the AD, he probably makes that hire. Luckily Woody is in charge.

Their stadium holds like 41,000 and for their 10-1 team the last game drew 14,000. As I recall, their season attendance average was like 18,000+. I don’t know what’s going on over there but they have a lot bigger problems than worrying about who gets the LSU gig.

Typical Lafayette Tiger fan. Some of y’all wonder why Cajun fans have trouble pulling for LSU as a 2nd team

Let’s be honest Ooh La La boy, Most of Lafayette are LSU fans. Few are ULL fans as witnessed by the pathetically empty stadium. Could be why y’all hate Lafayette and insist upon dissing it with that UL crap.

quote:

God forbid that Cajun fans and a Lafayette radio station talk about UL. The audacity to focus on the local university.

UL is a figment of delusional minds suffering from acute illusions of grandeur!

quote:

SMH and y’all say we are obsessed with LSU.

Well
Aren’t y’all? Ooh La La is worse than A$M wanting to be LSU baby brother. Call us Louisiana or we’re gonna hold our breath and pout!

ULL fans are passionate and I appreciate that. But they lack self awareness big time. Many I know feel they are LSU’s instate rival and we all know that’s just not the case.

However, if Napier had been offered the LSU gig, I imagine the ULL fans would have turned on him like they did Yvette Girouard. They were absolutely horrible to her and her family when she came to LSU.

The truth is most non casual UL fans are very happy Napier did not go to LSU.

As a ULL alumni, I think Napier going to Florida is a great step for our program. I think Most UL fans understand this.
