Cool, so he'll be looking for a new job a year from now.

Some jobs just don’t set you up for success. This is an example.

That’ll fix everything wrong with Vanderbilt.

I mean I guess I respect the hustle but I'm not sure I'd hitch my professional wagon to Derrick Mason.

If Mason is giving him control of the offense I can see it.

"I improved the offense by 10 points a game in the SEC" type deal where he can get another power 5 job. Or even the Vandy HC job

So he’s completely changing his offensive philosophy now?

Fitch didn’t call plays at Tech. Skip Holtz calls the plays.

Really doesn’t seem like a massive loss for Tech as Joe Sloan should slide into the OC role

He may be looking to set himself up as a head coach candidate there if Mason is fired.

Which makes this move a good move for the Ole resume.

I mean, we all knew Mason had to let some people go to save his job, and considering he’s supposed to be a defensive guru...

Good luck to them. Vandy will always be an uphill climb.

Maybe the Tech QB just had an off day but I was not impressed with their offensive output in the Indy Bowl. The RB ran hard but Smith couldnt hit the broad side of a barn.

Yeah... That's vintage J-Mar. Look great when nobody's watching, look basic when 2.6 million are watching.
