What was your prediction for the season maxi? It was nice having you MIA while we were doing well.
Face it you've got nothing positive for the guy. I know you get tired of hearing about his winning record and all, sorry

i dont make season predictions like you posi-losers but i'm sure yours was 1000-0 since Les Miles has never done in any wrong in your eyes

bc when he took over UL's offense he was abysmal.
6th ranked in total offense, nationally in 2007.
LINK 2007
2008 after losing his entire offense, falls to 45th......
2008
2009 was a terrible year, but Kragthorpe basically kicked everyone off his team and you have guys like Adam Froman and a Justin Burke leading his offense.
If LSU had the 45th ranked offense this year, they'd be undefeated, IMO.
You may not like him, but "abysmal" is too strong of a word to use.

really a guy who has never lost less than 2 games would have gone undeafeated if he had the 45th ranked offense? Yeah, really.

I know, I know.
I'm sure Lester would "have found a way to screw it up."
To each their own.

Tulsa's Offense in 2005 . Not bad, looked to be balanced. LINK

It must suck to have to watch him win 10 games huh. makes it that much harder to bitch.
Posted on 11/30/10 at 2:12 pm to Prominentwon
he fired his OC in between there and took over then the offense went to shite if I remember correctly. If he was good why did couldn't he land anywhere but aTm as a WR coach? Dont see coaches go from HC to pos. staffers too often
Posted on 11/30/10 at 2:13 pm to BayouRat15
But the year after he left, Tulsa offense avg. 542 a game!LINK
Posted on 11/30/10 at 2:15 pm to BayouRat15
That's because Todd Graham is a bad arse.

God I hope and pray we don't replace one crap offensive coordinator with another, like Kragthorpe.
Again - I posted about Kragthorpe last year (with quotes from comments on Louisville stories, quotes from blogs, and quotes from articles and ESPN):

A brief sampling of what I posted last year (quotes from Louisville blog and ESPN):
Basically, Kragthorpe is Crowton with less credentials. That...ain't...good.
Belowpar, can you change Miles' mind on this? PLEASE?

Well, throw one of those batteries back into the stands and I think you could hit someone to call a more imaginative offense. I haven't been a proponent of firing Krags during the season before; now I'm leaning that way. Send a message that the undiciplined mess of a game plan is unacceptable, that wasting timeouts when a game is coming down to the wire is moronic, that having a team with good field position look like they've never run a 2 minute drill is pathetic.
quote:
Even more so than that, Kragthorpe never fully utilized the talent on his team. For example, in 2007, instead of using 6-foot-6 receiver Mario Urrutia as a vertical threat as Petrino had, Kragthorpe's offense often called plays for Urrutia to go over the middle or catch screen passes. An unhappy Urrutia wound up leaving after the season as a junior.
Kragthorpe had three different offensive coordinators and four different defensive playcallers during his tenure. His teams often looked disjointed on the field, repeatedly burning timeouts in confusion early in games or lining up in the wrong formations. Kragthorpe's calls on third and fourth downs prompted a lot of head-scratching.
Basically, Kragthorpe is Crowton with less credentials. That...ain't...good.

it sucks to have to watch his retarded shite at the end of the UT game, his unhealthy attachment to a garbage QB, him need help from the refs to survive against UNC's 3rd string, his defense not even putting up a fight against AU, looking out of it against Arkansas, needing a lucky bounce on a fake FG to beat a shitty UF team etc etc etc

FWIW I'm not sure this would be a good move. I do think a better fit with Les is what we need. If Les is staying then let's get it going in the same direction. I think Stud needs to leave with GC too
