Kliff Kingsbury, why isn't his name getting mentioned much?

The guy is one of the brightest OCs in America IMO and has a bright future ahead of him, If Tubbs leaves Texas Tech, would the Red Raiders go after him? Also I could see Kingsbury at Colorado airing it out.

Big time programs don't hire assistants to be first time HCs, Bundy.

while true, WM had several years of being an elite DC. KK is in what, year one as an OC?

On topic, I'd like to see how he could do without JFF at QB. I think he's a good OC, but a Heisman contender makes all of his coaches look smart. I do think its funny he rocks Ray Ban's on the sideline though

Raybans, 5 o'clock shadow, all he needs is a hoodie an pbr on the sideline to complete his hipster image.

aTm knew about Kingsbury before he was mainstream.

Jimbo Fisher is another one, although he was hired from within. I do think it's too risky for big programs to hire an assistant as a first time coach though. Bill O'brien is another one although he was an assistant in the NFL before becoming HC at PSU
