Exactly. The whole "he was right until he wasn't" bit is so dumb.

You guys want perfect information from the news. That's unattainable. Stuff changes. Doesn't mean they're just making it up.

And again when ESPN allowed "the idiot" known as Mark May, trashed LSU for leaking the hiring of Herman which LSU did not leak nor hired. And not correcting for the record or apologizing knowing that it was Longhorn Digest and Herman's agent.

Miles to Michigan and fisher to LSU were both correct at the time. Just leaked too early. Both coaches had to backtrack.

Sounds like a Rich Rod to Bama situation.

Thank God that leak occurred.

He's just using logic.

Miles changed his mind about Michigan, but Kirk wasn't wrong.

Or how about wait until something is actually true before reporting it to be so? I know, crazy talk.

Have you ever helped a friend in need. Miami was a dumpster fire and Saban went there because a friend asked him to

Saban's altruistic like that. What a guy. It's not like he did it because of his own ambition or anything.

From Kiffin's side of it, what does he gain from taking the LSU job? I suppose if he turns around LSU that would be a big feather in his cap, that's all I can think of.

There's a huge risk for him that his offense won't be that great and he loses prestige after a season at LSU.

Who said he was making it up?

Doesn't change the fact he was dead wrong

Fact

If Kiffin does not get a HC job this year, he'll get one next year. Why would he take a lateral job for one season?

He can be viewed in a pretty good light if he turns around a notoriously average offense under Les. Although I see what you mean, I think Lane gets most of the credit for Bama's offense.

That's proof that Lane is a Tiger.

If you say something is going to happen or has happened and it hasn't or doesn't, then you are wrong. You have to have qualifiers.

Saying Kiffin will 100 percent not be in BR leaves no out for him to take. Changing his mind, etc., does not cover it. He will be right or wrong.

Then why do we have this board? People want other's opinions on coaching changes. He was asked and it is his job to report what is news. He got reliable info that Miles was going to Michigan. He wouldn't be doing his job if he didn't pass that info on. If you can't comprehend that you are a retard.

Honestly, that's the best argument that I've heard so far--bolstering his coaching resume.
