Yeah, but Strong did a great job getting Louisville turned around before that. USF is far more similar to that situation than to what he was up against at UT.

I don't think he gets the usf job. Strong is visiting there today and will make a decision soon. I don't think lane seeks out any other HC'n vacancy if Usf doesn't happen

Kiffen has proven he can successfully adapt an offense to player personnel and transiton fron pro style to spread/zone read.
It's still a matter of whether Lane can get a HC gig he'd take. If not, then it's a matter of whether he wants to leave Bama for LSU and whether Saban wants to keep him if he doesn't get a HC gig. It doesn't appear that anyone besides Lane and Saban know the answers to those questions.
