I'm not a Dillingham fan but I would take him before giving Kiffin the keys to 20 million a year to just retire at LSU on the spot with guaranteed money then check out like BK. That's too much money for a coach. You're giving him incentive to be lazy at that point. It's not about "it's not my money" it's about if the coach is motivated to actually win with that kind of money. He's going to get it guaranteed no matter what Landry said or you're not getting him.

Dillingham isn’t leaving his Alma Mater for nothing short of an NFL HC position,

You won’t have to pay Dillingham like a top 5 coach like Drinkwitz.

Dillingham will get close to top 5 money because it will take a lot to get him to leave ASU.

Nobody is leaving anywhere LSU poaches without giving them top 5 money. That's the downside to a university moving the needle on market inflation. The leverage is everyone knows LSU will pay and use that against them. You want me you have to pay.

No thanks. Big drop off this year. In a world where we’re shooting for Kiffin, this would be a big disappointment.

So dumb.

I’d love kiffin but guy has his fair share of failures and isn’t exactly a guarantee of sustained success.

He’s supposedly very frustrated with the behind the scenes support.

First I've heard of that. Works for me.

I mean, the last coach we grabbed from the state of Arizona who took his team to the top of the post season in the sport served us pretty well.

No you won’t have to pay him 11+ million a year, lol. If he wants that good luck staying in mediocrity at ASU. He makes 5.8 million genius, lol
