I am ok with anyone except Kiffin and Helfrich. Kiffin wouldn't be here very long and is fricking douchebag. I don't like what Helfrich does on offense for LSU and don't think it would be successful in the SEC.

Kiffin is now talking to Florida Atlantic. Once usf and this job gets filled he will want to talk to a school about another job. Just move on already.

We have indicated we will probably pay the highest OC salary in the country. I don't see how this would be a hard hire considering the talent and respurces the OC would have. He also would have a strong complementing defense.

You are likely working yourself up over reading comments of people on this board who know nothing like you and me. Other than fear of not getting a quality OC, do you really believe O is not vetting OC candidates? O may not have been the first choice of most fans, but he pulled off a master class politicking campaign to garner enough support to get the HC job. He probably is a little more capable and savvy than most of us in grabbing a quality OC.
Also, I don't know this for certain, but my understanding is that the HC has more access to recruits when a school is down a coach. Therefore, it may be that O is waiting until the dead period starts to hire an OC for tactical reasons.

No. I do not want LSU to rush and hire a name just to fill a spot on the staff list so we can soothe everybody's impatience and anxiety. If nobody has been hired yet, would rather wait till after bowl season.
