I believe he would go to Penn State but being the disciplinarian that Saban is he could whip the U into shape, but like I said it will never happen.

I agree with nick being at least considered for Dallas. I think the money will be there, but I don't know if Nick and Jerry can coexist within the same organization. They both want too much control. However, I think Nick is hungry for more success. He has already reached the pinnacle of CFB twice. Why not go back to the NFL on a stronger team and try for a SB ring? If he flops again, what college team would not want him? He would have his choice pretty much.

He is not a popular man in Miami. Don't think so

This. Obviously nobody that has posted on this subject is aware of exactly how much he is hated down here rendering all the other arguments moot. But Saban knows. I don't think he would come here for $10 million a year.

The people of that community would have a hard time welcoming Nick back. He may go somewhere but I don't think it will be the U.

Miami has never hired a high profile coach. Coaches leave Miami as high profile coaches. Saban is not even a consideration..

Whether or not the confirmed meeting between Jones and Saban was simply for Sexton to go to Bama for a raise/extension remains to be seen.

Would you like to explain this comment? Was this recent? And how has it been confirmed?

This. Plus, he's going to Dallas, who can afford him and will reluctantly pay him. The great luxury both Jerry and Nicky have now is time. Saban will not be able to say no to a $ figure approaching $100 million for a total contract value.

wow just fricking wow....

He didn't do so well in one Miami.

I would disagree. The Dolphins weren't good before he got there and he left with basically a .500 record when he left after only two seasons. I don't think you could say he was good, but I don't think you could say he was bad there either.

I with you Scoop. No way Miami. Plus i think it is quite unlikely he goes anywhere. His track record suggests otherwise but I think it would take the absolute perfect situation to get him to move. And that is unlikely no matter who is involved. Not impossible but very improbable in my opinion.

a lot have speculated that little nicky would like to win three titles at three different teams.

Just out of curiousity, where did you get this "lot have speculated" from?

$100 million?

He'd get offered 5-6 million a year.
