I have been wondering if Gonzales could be being groomed for the OC position. Like maybe he takes some responsibility from Crowton next season, and then transitions into the position.

So Crowton, who deserved to be fired, will be training the guy who will replace him if/when he is fired?

I see it as more of preparing Tiger nation for the switch. What was the major complaint people had with the rumor that he may be our OC?

I think he stopped trying after the big extension. He's just stealing money at this point.

It's possible and might even happen but what would we do for a QB coach?

Hire one if Crowton leaves, otherwise, the QB coach is Crowton. Sad but true.

I think Robinson will be looking hard for NFL gig.

I am pretty sure you and I aren't the only ones that have considered this. We will see!

If he is the OC in waiting I think he will be promoted shortly after the bowl game.

Crowton would have to have absolutely no pride or future prospects to agree to this.

I know we are all down on GC, but it isn't like he forgot how to coach....he just became predictable

2007 offense was pretty good as I recall...and we better players too...so....

I know this much, if LSU had an OC named John Doe right now and we were hiring Gary Crowton people on the rant would be saying "great hire, GC led his team to a NC two years ago. No way he just forgot how to coach. His Offensive line sucks and he is getting canned because of it. What luck for LSU. Things just fell in place.

What the hell are we going to do next year if GC's offense kicks arse???

Why not? Looks similar to what Texas did to Greg Davis with Applewhite--and Mack and Greg Davis have been boys for many years.
