How much will the next A&M coach be paid after the amount they have to pay Jimbo to not coach. I’m thinking 200M if Sexton is the agent. He is good for squeezing million he can out of a university.

I am pretty sure they will go small the next time out.

After getting burned on a famous National Championship winning coach, they will hire some young up and comer and pay him the lowest amount that is feasible for an SEC coach.

They can’t operate that way and get a quality coach anymore. There’s market standards that have to be met if you want to get someone who’s worth their salt. The problem they will have is they can’t do what has becoming a standard contract of eight to 10 years. They are only going to be able to cut a five year deal worth $6-7 million a year (this obviously seems like a big number to you or I, but in terms of the market standard right now that’s not very big and certainly not long enough… Yes, that’s what she said.)

They can't do that because if they miss they would be looking at almost a decade of total irrelevance. It has to be someone established who will break the bank.
