Exactly the same way he boasts about he and Wade's friendship. He wants that insight and way in he didnt have before. He has that with Mulkey and Wade. Football would be the big fish he's always wanted especially now that he's gone independent.

In Jordy’s defense, early in the week he said it felt like SW already had his guy and was not interested in Napier. He said it was either LR or Jimbo.
He’s also addressed the Pomansky comparisons. Laughs it off saying he’s nowhere near qualified to be anywhere near the LSU Ops Bldg. He just thinks Napier is the next young coach to hit big, and I agree with him.
Say what you want about some of his opinions, but he is by far the best radio/streaming option for LSU sports…..his insight on basketball is second to none in the media

That I do agree with. I mean a little Lloyd is ok but sometimes he gets too excited and takes over stuff. You can tell Jordy gets a little annoyed sometimes.

Some people don't like that he's the ULL coach and feel like he hasn't done enough to sustain a program like LSU despite other SEC programs valuing him enough to offer him their HC positions. Rather take chances on P5 coaches with maybe more yet not quite proven (Riley) to average (Stoops and Campbell) success.
