Jimmy and hanny were talking about jimbo and his ex wife about how tough she can make this on jimbo with their situation and jimmy said that word is that she is NOT making it hard on him right now. I think that is big and that was my one worry with jimbo was his wife freaking it up for us.

Good catch. Also Random LSU Hero has stated that Ott and Hanny absolutely have sources. Could be good news for LSU.

Jimbo has known for literally a minimum of 12-13 months at least if he knew LSU is a feasible option for his ex wife family situation.

Jimmy broke the Les Miles hire before anybody and both are pretty well connected in LSU. But Jimmy is personal friends with Jimbo, well atleast was when he was here. They lived down the street from one another.

From what I understand their special needs child is the main factor. Jimbo and his ex wife have to Bl close together so both can be there for their son.

I said it the other day. She wants him to make bank so it can keep her living the lavish lifestyle. That bitch wouldn't care if he moved to Saskatchewan to coach a team of goat herders as long as she gets paid.

Apparently from an Alabama poster last year, the ex did kind of freak out because it was so rushed but as early as December was saying that Jimbo regretted not taking it and that she would be looking at houses in New Orleans to move if offered this year.

Long story short, Dad is friends with a non football coach at FSU, the coach once lived and worked in Alabama, His wife and Jimbos wife are friends, the short of it is, that according to this person, FSU is keeping Jimbo, and that things are just too complicated for Jimbo to move to LSU right now!

Terms of their divorce do not change if his employment situation changes after the divorce. She got $3M+ in assets, a certain amount in child support each month (lower than you'd think - less than $5K), and alimony. The alimony amount has already been agreed to. She is not in a position to renegotiate.
I think Jimbo really has legit and strong interest in the LSU job, but family and other concerns make it not a given that he'll take it. He's going to have some unique demands that LSU will need to commit to (or FSU will need to commit to) in order to get him.
