Tell me again why we want him?

We don't want him, he's done, he's a has been

But he recruits 5 stars

Yes he has because he is a below avg coach. He left FSU in a terrible mess and will do the same at his next stop.

He destroyed a storied program at FSU. His “success” at A&M is fool’s gold.

No one ever doubted his recruiting prowess, it’s the organization and coaching acumen that’s in serious question.

so does O! And O got a National Championship!

He's built the lines there very well, but still has been underwhelming. Almost like Les Miles, but Les had more success at LSU than Jimbo has had at A&M.

Recruiting has never been a question with Jimbo. The onfield product though…

He’s consistently mediocre and some people prefer that apparently.

My concern is that Scott wants him. I don’t. I don’t really know who I want.

I don’t know, he has been a hot name for years and made his reputation/millions off of “ nick saban coaching tree” but he’s just another bumpkin coach that Saban made a lot of money for.
Woody missed on that one. Though no fault of Woody really. Jimbo was the hot hyped name at the time off of the success of one year of Jameis.

Nick Saban lost three or more games 9 times in his first 12 years of coaching so who cares ? It means very little.

He’s not even close to Saban. The Aggies are middle of the pack in the west. Les Miles had similar records and we know he wasn’t nick saban. Riley and Aranda are young and innovative and have the potential to be great. You’ve seen Jimbo’s best days.

Losses mean very little in judging performance.
