How many did LSU score in the same timeframe vs Bama. ZERO point scored vs Bama in one of those games for sure.

What does this have to do with McElwain you fricking dolt.

He also won SEC East with no qb.

Congrats. He won with a good defense in a shitty division. How does that help our offense?

I was your 50th downvote. Hopefully 200 more come your way.

Wonder what TD would have looked like in Jan 2000 when Saban was hired.

The popular choice typically ends up being the shittiest candidate. It's always the guy no one saw coming that rocks the set.

48-6 records at Alabama including 2 national championships. Running back Mark Ingram won the Crimson Tide's FIRST-EVER Heisman Trophy in McElwain's offense, and he also helped develop players like Greg McElroy, Julio Jones, and Barrett Jones.

Stew on that for a minute. If CEO wants to save his job, he needs to hire him. frick all the outside noise, I want to win NOW!

But you said in your OP that he was great at developing qbs....which is it?

I don't dispute his offensives was not great or even good at UF. However, UF's qb was horrible! Similar to our qb situation. Despite this well known tidbit his some coaches make better assistants than head coaches.

I don't like him from a personal standpoint, but from an OC standpoint, it's difficult to argue with his results. Whomever comes in as OC will have a very difficult task of reviving our offense, especially if CEO meddles.

For 2 plus seasons his UF offense was inept.
Solid recommendation.

This board never ceases to amaze me. However, the thought of this is comedic gold.

LOL, when you think about it more, he looks more impressive for the OC job in light of the fact that he won the SEC East with, "no qb".

Treon Harris 2014–2015 Transferred to TennesseeState in 2016. "No qb"

Will Grier 2015 Led the team to defeat of Tennessee. Was suspended for PEDs. Transferred to West Virginia./ "Was on his way to becoming All-SEC till being suspended." Would could have been had he not been kicked off team?

Luke Del Rio 2016-2017 Son of Jack Del Rio. "No qb" Transferred from Alabama and Oregon State.

Austin Appleby 2016 Graduate transfer from Purdue. "No qb, but managed to beat CEO and Ensminger's LSU team"

Feleipe Franks 2017 "no qb so far" I don't think Mullen will even be able to help him.
