It would be a bad move for him: Colorado is a dumpster fire in the making, and one that everyone is paying attention to. Leonhard has a promising career if he doesn't screw himself over

I would think that Jim Leonhard could get a much better job

Fans constantly make the mistake of projecting what is their criteria for "better" jobs onto coaches. Oftentimes, they value other things. Leonhard was born in Wisconsin, played at Wisconsin, and has only been an on-field coach in Wisconsin. Played almost his entire NFL career in Buffalo, New York, Baltimore, and Denver. Maybe he loves the cold. Maybe he loves skiing or simply the state of Colorado. Maybe his wife's parents live in Boulder. Maybe Colorado is gonna pay him $3 million a year. Everybody's situation is unique, and we are very rarely privy to what qualifies as "better" at a particular time in their lives and careers.

You guys get P.O.'d because they show what happens in most programs.

Who's "they"? Are you saying Colorado has done nothing worthy of all the media attention? You might be onto something.

You're not wrong. The dude was considered a top coordinator with NFL potential. There are plenty of reasons he could want to go. Just as there are many reasons to not want to go. He may be looking for anything to get away from Illinois. Who knows.
