I think their issue with him was that he ran off a few talented guys in order to “regain” control of the locker room.
If you do that you better get to the playoffs because otherwise you just made the roster worse for no reason.
This will be the true test tho. His resume is pretty meh if you take out the Manning inflated years. Darnold is talented enough that he needs to make it work or he’ll be a position coach for the rest of his days

Should've kept Bowles, they were winning games with the least talented roster in the NFL. Can't imagine him with some talent.
