Brian Kelly seems to keep everything very close to the vest. Any chance Jesse Minter could be the DC hire? He knows Harbaugh is gone after this year. Would Michigan give him the HC job? He’s from Little Rock so he’s a southern guy. He was a graduate assistant for two years under Brian Kelly at Cincinnati so they have a little history. I know it may be a long shot but that would be a Brain Kelly thing to do. A man can dream, right?

Third option would be for him to join Harbaugh as the DC for the Chargers?

That would be like going from a Yugo with no engine to a brand new Lamborghini.

Chargers? I think maybe the Commanders fire Rivera and Harbaugh goes there.

This will likely be the option.

That staff of Harbaugh and Minter in LA would turn the Chargers into a contender in 2 yrs.

The major issue is, will the Sapnos family actually pony up what is needed to lure that kind of brainpower to his tea.

This here in my opinion. Chargers have a QB. The Redskins are in position to draft one and Harbaugh"a infatuation wit McCaffey was evident.

He's more of a Midwest guy. When he was growing up, his dad was the DC at Ball State and Notre Dame, and then the HC at Cincinnati for a decade. Jesse also went to college in Ohio.

I think he'll get a head coaching job or go back to the NFL sooner than later.

Are we so sure that Harbaugh is actually gone after this season?

If we get any Mich coach to come as DC, think Mike Elston, not Minter.

I was extremely impressed with Michigans defense. Would be a great hire.
