Is O familiar with him, any past connections?

O most likely will hire someone he is familiar with. Ir atleast those close to him are familiar with.

Dont expect a Matt Cananda thing again

Because all the 16-18 high schoolers will be amazed by Jeff Fisher’s glorious NFL career

Absolutely. it would be great to have another nfl guy around. the team prepared like a nfl team and it showed on the field. That is a direct result of O hiring coaches from the nfl. The preparation is on another level.

You know there are lots of coaches who tried the NFL and ran back to college who have < 500 winning %. One of them resides in the SEC at this moment, another one was the Standard back in the 90's (Spurrier). I am not for or against Fisher, but he has a 178-170 type record and damn near won a super bowl.

They had national titles in college then left for two years. Fisher hasn't coached in college ever.

We want some young blood that can scheme to stop the new spread concepts and recruit 17-18 year old recruits, he wants to coach in the nfl anyways.
