Insecure? The guy is a flat out bad coach. He was in our backyard and we knew that. Check his record at Florida

Insecure is the wrong word. A small contigent of local media tried to push him as a viable candidate when Kelly was hired. This is more of a "I told you so" situation than true insecurity or dislike.

Exactly.
There was a VERY vocal group of LSU fans and local "media" folks that pushed Napier really hard and then used his minor successes in recruiting and hiring coaches early on to rub it in everyone's face that they were right. It was very annoying.
Now they all have shite on their face and we (the smart ones who knew Napier wasn't the guy) like to rub their face in it.
