Jerruh has always coveted Coach Payton. Now's the time boss.

What a shocker. What gave him that impression? Surely not the fact Jerry’s been interviewing coaches for the past 3 days...

I like McCarthy. I hope McDaniels has enough common sense not to do that. McCarthy can probably hold his own with JJ, but I doubt Josh can.

McDaniels isn’t the best fit. I mean, look what happened when he was the head coach in Denver.

How is Payton not on the board, especially with Garrett's release being officially announced mere minutes after the Saints were eliminated?

I beg the Cowboys to come get him. I'm tired of him.

Because Payton just signed a contract extension prior to this season that averages about 13 million/yr. Good luck getting the Saints to break that deal.

The latest extension former Super Bowl winning coach Sean Payton signed with the Saints is one of the largest among coaches of North American professional sports, league sources said.

Payton's annual compensation reaches the range of $13 million per year in the deal, I'm told, shattering what had been a $10 million ceiling of sorts for the bulk of NFL coaches.
