Lincoln Riley, Oklahoma -- $7.672 Million Per Year

VS

Lincoln Riley, LSU $12 Million Per Year
8yr $96 Million @LSU
(4.328 Million MORE A YEAR then at OU)
*If the the Offer is True*

Media Darlings... Let's see what happens.

Nobody's turning that down..let's see if his New Deal with OU is close to that, If it is, then the offer was legit.

FWIW… had heard the most recent offer was $12.5M/year for 8 years with automatic extensions for playoff appearances.

Some of you need to reset your expectations. Pulling a coach like Lincoln would be unprecedented. I don’t think any program could confidently pull it off.

Woodward is stupid if that's what he's offering. Good God he's not worth that!

God forbid we offer that dude that much money. He can’t win a playoff game!

Napier will be better than Riley in the long-run.

Based off what? Winning the Sun Belt? Riley is more of a sure thing than Napier is all day, every day. All Napier can offer is hopes and dreams because comparing resumes with Lincoln Riley is a joke.

How Can this Post get any Down Votes, unless your a OU or other rival fan. Those 2 Media talkin Heads gives speculation, (Not Facts)

It's True, who would refuse that increase in Pay for a School that offers as much as LSU.

Unless you have a deal already, because of your negotiations with LSU for similar Pay.

Im ready to see that Lincoln Riley "New Deal" at ou

And Yea, I don't believe the "Media Darlings"

It would be borderline unreasonable to turn that down.

Here we go again being concerned about other people's money and how they want to spend it.

Lol. No it doesn’t. The only time any coach has been pulled from any major (top 10 recruiting) program to go to another was either when they were no longer being very successful (Jimbo at FSU to A&M) or it was a alma matter sort of deal.

It’s almost impossible to pull a successful coach away from a major program. Usually the major program will match anything the other program offers and few coaches are going to uproot their families and move for the same amount or less money when both programs are top tier.

I read an article back in the summer when it was announced that Texas & Oklahoma were joining the SEC and the article was around ESPN’s future new deal with the SEC. The article stated that there were conversations around each SEC school receiving 74.5 million a year for 15 years from the new deal.

Lord have mercy!!!!!
