It's time for the LSU fanbase to come together and support the program.

We don't know what the future holds but everyone can make a decision to be a positive supporter of our program. For those that feel the need to predict failure, what do you gain by being "right"?

I feel like I'm reliving the hiring of Kevin Steele, just on a significantly larger scale.

this will continue to be a fractured fan base as long as the decision makers keep putting feet up their own asses

it's the exact same sunshine pumping that we saw defend Les

and yes, this is eerily similar to settling on steele. Bilj made a thread about that exact topic ealrier

I will be cheering like crazy for LSU to win, always. But, I can not and will not support this decision when there were MUCH better candidates to be had. Alleva made it sound like he hired Coach O because of his passion and love for LSU. In that case, I'm as we qualified as Coach O.

I'll only respond once because I know how many miserable MFer's call themselves LSU fans.

Our players deserve better than your sorry arse.

I would expect more from you. If your "sense of living" is tied to LSU football, maybe you should find some new hobbies where you control the outcome.

I supported both the program and Les Miles from day one of his hire. In fact, I'm one of the very last to let go of that rope, waiting until after the Wisky game to finally admit his time had come.

Since that day, and more specifically since the day our athletic director PROMISED US he'd go out and find the best possible candidate, I've gotten a sense of excitement about the program. Not that I wasn't excited before, but the sense that we were about to step forth into a new era.

So after paying off Miles and all the promises of what should have amounted to a 2 month coaching search what did we end up with? The DL coach we tapped as the interim! And the worst part is, the AD has the fricking nerve to look us in the face and assure us that, you know what...gosh darnit, ole Ed O was the best man for the job and he was right there under our noses the whole time!

Seriously...frick each and every bit of that bullshite.

You fired a MNC winning coach who got back to the championship game because you didn't like his offense so you hired a DL coach who failed as a head coach.

Our players deserve better than hiring a man that literally no other Power 5 Conference program would hire.
