What is going on in Knoxville? I thought for sure Butch would be gone by Monday after we drove our nail into his coffin Saturday. Does the AD just want Butch to stay and embarrass himself by losing more?

Something weird for sure. VQ and 247 do not report anything without the AD's consent and they both reported Sunday night that Butch had been notified he is fired but would coach against Southern Miss.
Then last night Currie did an interview and tip toed around any question regarding Butch without giving him an inch of support. After about the 4th time being asked, he basically just started saying "The best things fans can do at this moment is support the players." over and over.
