There's no way this dude is seriously leading with the rape scandal at Vandy. I'm actually super surprised he ever got another major gig especially one like Penn State was dealing with.

They called his agent to gauge his interest, because Tate made SW look at minority candidates. Franklin probably shared openly with coaches, mainly because he isn't interested. His youngest daughter has sickle cell, and his family isn't leaving her caregivers.
And Woodward is NOT dumb enough to offer a job to a guy with this schedule left.
Woodward could be looking at hiring a coach from a 4 or 5 loss team.

I think most LSU fans are not so secretly hoping we get an offense guy. In modern college football you see so many more dominant offenses than defenses.
UGA this year looks like one of the first “defense wins championships” teams in a minute, but we heard a similar story leading up to the SECCG in 2019.
Maybe we should try to hire someone known for recruiting and developing QBs. Or maybe I just have Miles PTSD.
