It's important to get a coach that did well during the pandemic.

To me that shows a coach that has set up a machine of a program that can overcome adversity and is set up better for consistency. Looking at the list we have been talking about that would be Fickle, Napier, Riley, maybe Mark stoops. Tucker, Franklin, Aranda all could be fantastic coaches but their teams didn't do so well last year.

The less I hear Urban Meyer's name, the more confident I get that it could be him.

You won't get many upvotes (got one from me), but the Covid season showed us who is supremely organized, focused, and capable of steering his ship in the roughest circumstances.

It is absolutely something I would take into consideration, and a subject I might ask questions about to prospective hires.

Tucker and Aranda were in their first years. What kind of "machine" do you expect them to have set up?

Tucker was also hired around Valentine's Day 2020. Dantonio resigned in early February. So he had been on the job for all of one month before COVID hit.

That just furthers my point about those two that they don't have enough experience to even know how they run a program. Again either or both could turn out to be great but for the LSU head coaching job I would prefer someone that has proven they can create a consistently well coached team and well oiled program.
