Not hiring a proven HC

Go for the big 3: TT, SOS, Saban

i'm kinda worried Skip will F==k this up

I have heard that skip is consulting with Mal Moore about the next hire since Mal has more experience than anyone in the business.

Skip is simply the figure head. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if Lombardi didn't make Skip move his shite back over the office under the bleachers at Alex Box. Lombardi simply tells Skip to keep his arse over there and we'll call you when we need you.

Did you read my other posts?



I did spend almost 2 hrs. last night getting info on coaching changes. It was nice to get an outside the LA. look from others.

I agree that this is no job for an unproven top level coach. The guy from USF, Tedford, Del Rio, may be good prospects. But they have not won at the top level of college football. I think Saban, Tubberville, and Spurrier are assholes. But, to paraphrase FDR, they will be assholes on behalf of us next year.

These schools have won BCS National Championships without hiring a big name coach:

LSU
Ohio State
Miami
Florida
Oklahoma

Miami is the only one that has declined. The rest are going strong with their coaches.
