A ton of smoke with Jimbo right now from multiple places, Aggies still in denial, and I will enjoy the melt from them if the rumors are true.

I think there will be just as big of a melt here. Don’t want Jimbo.

I am good with Jimbo. Wouldn't melt, wouldn't jump for joy. The Aggie melt would be the best part of the whole thing.

There are new rumors from multiple places every day about one candidate or another.

Don’t believe any of it

If it is Jimbo than disappointed in Scott as he did not do his diligence on searching for a coach

Same

Although he is certainly not as hot a commodity as 2015-2016

His offense is a bit stale

For the money, I'd rather have Riley. If we are looking to pay less, I'd rather Aranda.

The program is a mess, and Woodward's legacy is this hire. You'd have to think it would be someone off the Woodward tree, be it Jimbo, Sarkisian, or Petersen, whoever. He knows these guys, and he trusts these guys. Personally, I believe it's Petersen. Just a Hunch.

Jimbo is in the top 4 or 5 for me. He would be a great coaching hire, particularly if you look at who LSU typically hires. In the last 40 years, LSU has only hired two good coaches - Saban and Arnsparger.

If it is Jimbo, he will win consistently and win a NC within 5 years. He's a great fit at LSU, knows the area and was OC here when the program was resurrected. At 56 he has at least 10 years of coaching left and he is in his prime. He'll run a program better than Kiffin, he's more proven than Riley (and will have better defenses), he can coach an offense (unlike Dabo), and he's not too old (Saban, Stoops).

If we get Jimbo, I say "well done, Scott. This is what LSU should have done 5 years ago."

I’d rather Aranda or Napier than Fisher.

Lazy hire for Woody. However, I think he would do fine. I don't see why he would leave TAM, deep pockets, great recruiting base and the ranch. He runs the most valuable CFB franchise in the country. I just don't see it. This has to be a smokescreen to hide the real candidate.

The melt would be huge, because the aggies will hire one of the names we've been talking about for weeks and those supporters will lose their mind. Im thinking specifically about the Napier boys
