I was really hoping for Tubby to get the job...but its all over now
SOS is still out there, but i have serious doubts in him coming to LSU
Del RIO, i don't think he leaves a good NFL payoff team to come here...I don't think its happining, at least not this year

frick Tubby...he can keep his cigars and mid-field stomping at shitty auburn where it belongs.

I'd rather give Stovall a second chance than Tuberville.

Tubby + LSU = domination

NEWSFLASH:
Tubby nor Saban are not and were not even being considered by the decision makers. Neither have even been approached through back channels. I heard that Sexton floated a Saban test balloon with LSU and they stuck a pin in it immediately.

If Saban expresses interest, he should be hired ASAP without Interview

Saban is damaged goods. He made a bad decision to leave LSU and is now just an angry little midget.

he is a lightning rod for negative attention.
severe hits to his reputation. leaving bama after one year would make him seem even more like a quitter.

Failed coach in the NFL. Went from 9-7 to 6-10 with no real change in personnel except for QB.
Took a 6-2 team at Bama to 6-6, including losses to Mississippi State and ULM.
Have you watched him in a press conference since Jan 2007? He is an angry angry man. He is no longer the pretty boy of coaching -- if anything, he is a jackass and the whole world knows it now. What does he bring to the table except his dickhold attitude? 3+ losses a year, perennially, and a penchant for falling apart when the going gets tough, a history of blaming players for losses and taking credit for wins, and the baggage of an embarrassing transition from the NFL back to the SEC. Leaving Bama after one year to come back to LSU would be embarrassing to LSU and Bama and Saban, and I think the big money guys at LSU know it.

Even though if you look at the Dolphins this year, him there was a great success

Clearly. This makes no sense. Being a jackass couldn't motivate his far more talented Bama squad to beat ULM this year.

If you don't see a difference between Nick Saban in 2003 and the Nick Saban from 2004-2007, you are kidding yourself. He won those things when he was climbing up the college football mountain, so to speak. He peaked, his popularity soared, he failed in the NFL and then everyone else noticed what they should have noticed the whole time: he is an angry little a-hole that has had one outstanding season (2003) to go along with 2 decent seasons (2001 and 1999 at Mich State) and several mediocre seasons (1995-1998, 2000, 2002, 2004, 2007). Phil Fulmer has a couple of SEC titles and a national championship -- does that mean he would be a good hire too?
