No he isn't

Or was he just a Bad fit at Texas ?

Not sure he was even that in terms of the players and staff, just with the Longhorn boosters are an unrealistic self important bunch for the most part.

When he took over in 2017 he had a winning season, first at Texas since since 2013. but 10-12 vs ranked teams. Worst season at Texas was 8-5. Let's see what Sark does this season but I doubt he does much better than 8-5.

If we hired Herman, I would be surprised but not terribly disappointed as long as he refrains from kissing the players,

I think "he" is a great coach.

Yes ! Insisted that they line up and get kissed ! Way too weird ! Could potentially promote a sexual harrasement charge .

Dude! You’ve literally brought up Herman kissing his players in every post that mentions him. We get it. I don’t think it’s a Louisiana culture fit problem, it’s a you problem. The rest of us don’t obsess about it.

Tom Herman has always been the dark horse candidate for me and I think he'd do really well at LSU. I'd be shocked if he was apart of the group of guys Woodward is looking at. I know this doesn't fit the definition of "darkhorse". It's a little outside the box though.

I think he would be very anxious to get back to Coaching.

Considering the Coaches we know of, He has the coaching skills on Offense , Just would need a Solid DC.

Does LSU Revisit? I'm not sure ....

But I wouldn't mind Herman.

Herman is that guy in your office that got the big promotion despite not having the experience and taking credit for the success of a project that he had little input on.

I’d be ok with Franklin, because he’s been around for a while and had good results, even with Vandy. I don’t want Mel Tucker because he’s barely above .500 and just hasn’t been a headcoach long enough to evaluate his record or how he handles staff turnover and managing a program. Who else are you race-baiting about?

Herman put in the time as an OC from 2005 to 2014...four different schools.

Six years as a head coach. Lost some really close games in his time as Texas. He is a good coach who knows offense.

I would be ok with Herman but I don't think he will get serious consideration.

We won’t consider Herman? But he absolutely would do better at LSU than Texas.

No way he doesn’t regrets that move.
