I hate a&m but I think it’s a way better job than fsu. More money, resources, better stadium, better conference.

frick no. figs are the at best 3 choice of recruits in a state that produces weak football players.

FSU is a better job.

But A&M is in the SECW and they are willing to spend $$ on a HC and asst pool and Recruiting budgets.

Jimbo tried and failed to upgrade facilities and the asst pool at FSU (something they will have to do if they try to hire a Sexton client) it was a good time for a parting of the ways.

When is the last time A&M won a conference title and a NC? When is the last time FSU did?

UF, LSU, AU and BAMA (of course if available). all 4 have made at least 2 natty games the last 11 years.

Interesting choice with “11 years.” The last 6 years, FL and LSU have been 0 years, Bama 3 (maybe 4), and Auburn 1 (maybe 2).

It’s more accurate to say that for teams that made the natty game over the last 11 years, Saban’s players made it 6 times (maybe 7). Urban’s made it 3 times (maybe 4). Auburn made it 2 times (maybe 3). And LSU w/o Saban players made it 1 time.

Only 4 active HCs have won natties and Jimbo is one of them. Both A&M and Jimbo are no fools here. If anyone ever offers you $70-80M and they’re not in a cartel, my advice to you is be your definition of a “fool” and take it.

Only 2 have won NCs at multiple schools, Meyer and Saban. Do TAMU fans think that John James Fisher will be the 3rd? Is an NC the expectation? For $75 million it's gotta be right?

Jimbo and FSU are mutually tired of each other. After this year's dismal performance the bloom is off the rose. Plus he went through a painful divorce - got backdoored by a grad asst... it was time for him to leave Tallahassee, and I don't think they are heartbroken to see him go. A&M has better facilities.

Sleeping giant for 100+ years of football...yes, the Ags have tradition, but never true championship aspirations...

Not now, but it will be once Jimbo builds them up and FSU declines.

In terms of facilities, willingness to spend even more money on facilities, willingness to pay for big time coordinators, other fringe benefits (access to private air travel), and money ($7.5 mil versus $5.7 mil)....I'd say the aTm job is better

In terms of ability to win a natty? who knows.

these are accurate statements. many in Tallahassee are tired of his shite.

very debatable. FSU has upgraded a lot in last few years. they pretty much have facilities comparable to SEC ones. FSU was having no problems getting recruits to come there and I never heard one that didn't refer to their "facilities". in todays huge TV contracts they all have money to have first class facilities. the big football schools spend their money on football.

It’s not debatable. It’s debatable whether or not A&M has the best facilities.

A&M is 2nd only to the Duck in football facilities. FSU is like Top 10 on a lot of football facilities rankings. As nice as some of the facilities are, at a certain point it's more for advertising to recruits than improving field play. I can't say new football facilities helped Tennessee or A&M.

Jimbo needed a change of scenery and TAMU was willing to give him a stupid contract in order to do so. Both sides are pretty happy about it.

I don't think it's as much about FSU vs. TAMU as it is Jimbo needing to be someplace else.

Who knows if this is true, but I have always heard it was a struggle for Jimbo to get the wallet open enough to keep quality coordinators.

Say what you will, but A&M will not skimp on paying.

There are only like 5 coaching staffs in the nation who are paid more than ours.

The Seminoles rank behind LSU ($5,781,500), Clemson ($5,390,417), Alabama ($5,320,000), Texas A&M ($4,811,000) and Georgia ($4,675,000).

FSU facilities are subpar???? FSU doesn't pay their coaches????

247, USA Today, ect there are website where you can look this information.

Where does the SEC rant get there information from?

If you believe the words coming out your mouth, then what does say about the other FBS teams in the country?

The Ags’ level of delusion is in its own tier, that’s one certainty.

Please post about all of your conference and and national championship success in any of the multiple conferences you’ve been apart of.

I’ll hang up and listen.
