I'm sure Lane would just love it in Stark Vegas. He could rotate between the KFC and the Golden Corral every other night and splurge on Friday nights at the Applebees. Lots of pine trees there to count, too! That salary would go along way at Belk when he needs some new Dockers. Seems like a perfect fit!

it’s Cohen doing the hiring. this going to take at least two years and 372 mound visits before it’s finalized.

Mullen made near $5mil a year with incentives, with Miss. low cost of living you are doing pretty damn well on that kind of salary.

I don't think Starkville has a Golden Corral

Keenum has worked really hard on State's image and moving the university forward. He's not going to let Lane Kiffin be the most prominent face of the university. Partial statement from his release yesterday:

quote:

MSU has already begun the process of an orderly and expeditious transition to new and exciting leadership for our football program. I have shared my vision with Athletics Director John Cohen and I am confident that John will move quickly and decisively to fill our coaching vacancy with the best possible person to build on the success of our program.”
