Or does it just seem that way?

Just read that he is Malzahn's agent and I am a little disappointed to be honest.

Why are you disappointed that your coach has a good agent? You know you don't actually have to pay those coaches' salaries, right?

I have bad memories of Sexton during the Tuberville years, although I realize Tubbs was probably orchestrating the whole thing each season.

Seriously though, does the man have the agent market cornered for head coaches? If nothing else that is impressive for him.

Think of a coach. Sexton's most likely his agent.

Also, he's Tebow's agent as well

Seems like he would always run into conflicts of interest.

Sexton is also Finebaum's agent.

Nutt's greatest trick was getting Nutt linked to every opening in the country. He even got Sabes to give him a job recommendation for the LSU job

all it means is that your coach will be involved in heavy rumors of leaving every time he has a good year. I laughed my arse off when I read "a representative of Sumlin's" reached out to USC. No shite. That's what Sexton does.

He reaches out to every fricking job so that rumors swirl and you hand your coach a new contract. Hell I'm not even sure the coaches are aware most of the time. You can hate him, but he's damn good at his job. If I was a coach, he'd be my agent fo sho

He is a member out at our golf course. His son is such a little dbag.

I saw Julio Jones at a ton of Grizzlies playoffs games, which seemed weird until I realized Sexton was his agent.
