Because that's what Coach O is going for remember? If this offense turns out to be Miles 2.0, I want CEO and Alleva on the unemployment line come next year. I'd be so fricking mad.

He was the only offensive coordinator up for the Broyles award.

You tell me.

Well, that's subjective. You could make the argument that he was this year.

Well he was the only Offensive Coordinator up for the Broyles award, so he arguably is the best OC in the country.

He was the best this year. Coach O didn't say the best of all time...

Neither was Kiffin. That was a stupid comment no matter which way you slice it.

He might be. It will be a good hire.

I see we've resorted to fabricating statistics now.

Western Michigan, Louisville, Navy, Clemson, Texas Tech, Washington State, etc, all had more red zone TDs this year than Pitt.

His red zone offensive ranks prior to this year -

2015 - 53rd
2014 - 41st
2013 - 101st
2012 - 63rd

His offense was first in redzone td percentage.....meaning Of any D1 school Pittsburgh yes Pittsburgh was most likely to score 7 once it got inside the 25 yard line....

Not a made up stat

You don't think a top five oc and Broyles finalist is anything to get excited for?

Regardless, the best oc is subjective to each person. As far as name goes, he's one of the most well known along with Riley and kiffin.
