Is Kelly waiting until after the bowl game to hire assistant coaches. Would make sense.

Maybe he wants this staff to get this team through the bowl game, then see who needs to be retained and who needs to be replaced.

I think we need an OC and DC announcement prior to signing day.

I agree. Those two are high priority ASAP. You cannot afford to wait. Meanwhile if there are assistant coaches who know they're going to be there wrap those up too.

No need to hurry. We have a whole offseason to shop coaches. If we miss out on any big recruits, Kelly proved he can get there with 2 & 3 stars

It would make sense if he wants to lose recruits and watch all the top assistants get hired at other schools.

No he didn't. Notre Dame consistently recruited in the top 15 every year he was there. That's far from 2 and 3 star recruits.

He didn’t recruit a bunch of 2 and 3 stars. And he wasn’t playing an sec schedule!

Absolutely wouldn’t make sense, he needs coordinators in place before early signing period. He can sit down with each one now, share his vision and talk X’s and O’s and based upon their feedback should be able to know who he wants and doesn’t want.
