Is Brandon Going for TOTAL Surprise ...

... introducing the new Michigan fb coach at the Michigan-Kansas game at 330 CST?
Some Michigan people (more "sources," I know) were saying that Brandon wanted a new coach in place by the game this afternoon.
I figured, if that was the case, they'd have a deal in place and announcement done around 10am this morning.
I was assuming the silence meant that talks were bogging down and/or CLM was not a slam-dunk to go to Michigan.
But now I wonder ... has Michigan pulled this off with total secrecy?
Will the very first announcement be when Les walks out onto the court before the basketball game?
Kudos to Brandon and Michigan if they pull that off.

FWIW, Brady Hoke's agent was quoted as saying that Brandon has kept things so incredibly quiet that he couldn't give any real comments on what was going on because he had no idea.

Don't think so.......I don't think Miles would leave and not tell the players first. If he handles it like this he is a complete a-hole.

Honestly, if this does indeed happen, it wouldn't shock me. Pretty much nothing has gotten out so far and IMO, about 98.9% of these "sources" are full of shite. I think the only people who know what is going on is Miles, his agent, Brandon, and Alleva. I honestly believe almost no one outside of this circle knows. They very well may be announcing him at the game.

Wouldn't it make more sense to do it at the Ohio State game coming up?? I know it's not until Wednesday, but wouldn't it make more sense to announce it against our biggest rival? have the new coach say something to get everyone fired up? Doubt Kansas players or fans that might be there will really care lol.

Still, I can see Les making the appearance on national television and then being man enough and decent enough to come back to Baton Rouge and address the team.

When I posted it, I hadn't checked that, but no, it's on Big 10 Network.
I realize nationally televised presents it to a wider audience, I'm just thinking doing it against our main rival makes some sense as well. Didn't they announce Tressel at a BBall game against Mich? Or was it just a bball game in general? I don't really remember.

Agreed. Miles loves his players. They would know before any public announcement. And, yes, if the players had already been told, we would know about 30 seconds later.
