Interesting fact for ya, alot of people think the mustang was named after the horse. It was actually named after the P51 mustang. A plane.

It is true. Also, seems to me that if LSU had actually offered Riley $12.5MM to come to LSU, Armstrong would have required that same offer for Kelly. The fact that Kelly's base is $9.5 tells me that, while we reached out in the beginning, we never got close to what was being discussed last week.

Gotcha. I read something older that said someone else for LR. I didn't realize coaches usually switch agents. James Franklin switch from Armstrong to Sexton in the past year, so I guess it's more common than I thought.
I had to do some searching, but just found this to confirm. Not sure how much I trust an article with an anonymous author, but it's better than nothing.

The fact that we now know they have the same agent makes me believe that Armstrong was behind the smoke all along. He knew Lincoln was going to USC and that Kelly was going to LSU. The 12M/8yr offer was never real
