Nope

Someone with a 6-21 (12-21 if he runs the table) SEC record is not getting the permanent job at LSU. If so, there was no reason to fire Miles

If we fired Les and pay him $10M to go, just so we can turn around and hire our dline coach that no one else wants as a HC, people should protest in the street.

Agreed. Makes me think they will wait and see. If he runs the table and they don't make him HC they would be slammed in the media.

The reason was money. Alleva said as much. Enough money that it was worth spending 9-12 million to get rid of Miles. Without a drop off in projected numbers, Miles is still head coach. Wins and losses are only a part of it.

Powers that be will say only a championship caliber coach will do and that's who they will "target". When those targets are missed, LSU will settle for a coach that keeps LSU competitive and the fans interested. Many fans here have stated before that if LSU was competitive in loses they would have held nothing against Miles.

LSU isn't playing with a NCAA ball anymore, it has been replaced with a political one.

The BOS, TAF and major boosters need some coaching from CEO. They need to put personal interests aside and start pulling in the same direction.

F**k the media, they are all about being controversial. When LSU starts winning with Herman, nobody will give a shite about what transpired with Miles or coach O.
