Kelly is just the man to get it done. Some amateur like Bargain Bin Billy Napier would have kept all of those levers of power in place within the program.

Why would he hire Denbrock then? He already shitcanned him once. Doesn't sound like someone he can trust. What an awkward relationship that would be.

I have 3 friends that go to the University of Cincinnati as students. 2 undergrad. 1 grad student that played there. All 3 of them want him gone they were hoping he’d leave after last season and go to Vandy like was rumored but he stuck around because of the core they had coming back for one last hurrah because they were gonna run through the AAC like they did. They’re hoping he’s gone after the Bama game and they move onto someone younger and new who is more innovative

Woody tried his arse off to hire Jimbo Fisher. That’s about as “good ole boy” as it gets too. Thank God he said no, but that’s a huge negative on Scott imo. Would have erased all the goodwill he accumulated with the Johnson and Mulkey hires. And makes me wonder how fast he’s gonna try to replace Will Wade with Bill Self.
