I'm sick and tired of Coach Miles being thrown under the bus

If you or anyone can give me facts that Coach Miles has done something wrong, then I'm listening...
-Coach talked to Michigan on Friday---So what... it was simply a courtesy call
-There is NO deal going on with Michigan
-Coach has come out and said he is LSU's Coach
-There is NO talk between Michigan and Miles or his representatives about him being a candidate
-There has been NO evidence that even Michigan wants Miles
OTL just had a great report...
There is smoke but NO FLAMES

-Coach has come out and said he is LSU's Coach
-There is NO talk between Michigan and Miles or his representatives about him being a candidate

i think a lot of responsibility falls on Miles' shoulders here.

Show me something that he's not...Is a 5 minute courtesy call keeping him from the Natl Champ?
He is not working on a deal, he has not talked to Michigan again...
He is GREAT incentive to win this game plain and simple...He isn't doing anything wrong.

Never was it said, We want him...What can we do to get him...
If you ask alum/ex players...They want Miles to Michigan badly...
If they wanted Miles so bad, why did they give a job offer to Schiano?

Exactly......I put myself in the situation....I've actually been where Miles is now in a sense.
I had a internship with Company A, and I had begun working there. I also had spoken with Company B but they didn't offer me a job right away.....and later did. I told them no thanks. They then contacted me to ask my thoughts on some other people they were interviewin since I had worked with them in my masters program.
I personally think the same thing is going on here and the media is just blowing it up b/c he spoke with UM.

all im saying is, the whole phone call fiasco is certainly going to stir up rumors, and he should realize that and recognize that people will run with those rumors (ESPN).

I agree with you. THe LSU fans base is so insecure it is pathetic. It is like a virus and infects even the most rational of posters

So do you have a link to a Michigan representative saying, "We want Les Miles to be our coach next year"?
Because it is pretty much total bullshite to call him on that without SOMETHING concrete to back you up. And by concrete, I mean more credible than "well, EVERYBODY knows" or "THEY say" or "ESPN reports."

Come on, after all that went down, what did you expect the media to do when they found out Miles spoke with UM?
Miles created this most recent public relations drama by talking to UM.
Can he talk with UM? YOu bet, but don't be shocked to get egg on your face when you do.
The gossip hounds were just waiting for Mile to make a foolish move like this.
After all the drama surrounding UM-LSU-Miles, Miles must have enough sense to know that if he keeps talking to UM, then the field is wide open for critism.

belowpar, do you work for LSU?? I was getting the same info you posted last week from my dad who is a former player. Just found it odd.

Belowpar is Les Miles oldest son. Quite well spoken for such a young guy

You know besides the VT game and perhaps the TENN game did we ever enjoy a win this year. After every win there was a big "but" around it. I remember after the Miss State game after we shut them out the whole aura around here was like a funeral home. It would be nice to enjoy wins again
