I'm really concerned about hiring a coach for non-football reasons.

Is it racists to ask for a coach to get hired based on college football head coaching qualifications? If so we are totally f'd as a university.

I'm just laughing at how on edge Tate has everyone here. I've seen more Tate threads than potential candidate threads since the announcement was made. I have a friend who is an LSU alum and he said his mom immediately said Tate was going to make the PC minority hire. I asked him what her TD user name was.
ETA My personal choice is Aranda and maybe Herman as OC, but have faith in whoever Dave would choose.
