Gilbert's highest average pass attempts per game the previous three years was last year at USF. They averaged 30 pass attempts per game.
Care to guess how many rushing attempts they averaged? Over 50.

You must throw the football - A LOT - to take down Sabama, no doubt. But the key is still a good balanced attack to spread them out and keep em on their heels.

Stupid if you want this.
Look at the teams that are playing in the CFP. Only OU ran a spread but, they were more like a Pats type offense..
It kills your defense.
