If true, he better have a better defense than he does at Oklahoma State since he will be in the SEC.

Skillet seems to hate me for it, but i always agree with you. Have an upvote.

I do however think Gundy will be very average at Tennessee.

Gundy kind of has UT by the balls. He could ask for $9 million and I think UT would have to pay it. What leverage do the Vols have at this point?

None. Tennessee is really desperate right now. But hey, whatever it takes.

It means Gundy's mullet will forever be known as the Tennessee Waterfall.

My brother n law is one of these. He was all "why they fired Miles when he was winning 9 games a year?" but will say "LSU going 10-3 is no big accomplishment"

shockingly the thing i'm most disappointed with O is his recruiting. he did a nice job this year on the field and the future looks bright.

When Vols use their internet power for good it is some great stuff.

With great power comes great responsibility. Sometimes the power that VOLS internet wields is just too much and has us toeing the line of the dark side

I hope so. He would be a much better Phoenix arising from their dumpster fire than it appeared 24 hours ago. It would certainly help if the Vols developed a pulse in their storied historical rivalry no one knew existed before it became time for Alabama, I mean the SEC, to select permanent opponents.

Ya, I feel the longer it drags on the less likely. Would be surprised if it still happens and it isn't today.

2018 is a down year in LA. 2019 is one of the best crops the state has produced in some time

This hire would be like watching your fat friend who has no self esteem embarrassingly strike out with a 4 at the bar, then he suddenly turns around and takes home Alison Brie.

First of all we aren't 10-3 yet, the bowl is far from an automatic win. Second of all 10 wins including a bowl game with three cupcakes sprinkled in is really not some landmark achievement. Go 10-2 in the regular season next year with that schedule then we can talk about a really good season.

I believe the proper terminology is the "Tennessee tophat," those with "Kentucky Waterfalls" may take umbrage.

Ha, no hate George. I'm so happy that Les is gone that the only 2 LSU HC candidates on Alleva's extensive search list that I would have been pissed if he hired were Peveto and RC Slocum.

Former Okla St coaches seem to win BCSNC's in the SEC.

Herman seems right on schedule, progress on the field and is tearing up the recruiting trail. Please done equate what he inherited to O

im still on the fence about Herman.. it could go either way... but he is doing very well with recruiting..

quote:

Overall O did an OK job in a bad conference this year...let’s be honest the Auburn win was the only legitimate one on our resume. 5 conference wins against lame duck coaches. That’s an anomaly unlikely to ever repeat itself.

100%.. the SEC was horrid this year.. as shown by all the firings..

The Canada thing worries me.. i think his offense would get better next year.. I question why Brennan as QB though... his offense can change with each QB but it does look from the outside that his offense needs a DT QB.. Brennan would absolutely murder it with a Briles offense.. Which is the offense i want.. spread it out and throw it witha power run game..

the recruiting could take a major turn here in the next month.. there are 7 4*'s and above that look as if we will land... He needs to stay in the top 7 year in and year out..
