I think this is something that is dividing people's opinions on candidates..

If you want someone to be the future LSU Head Coach - how long do you want/expect them to stay at LSU for you to vote for them? - That is the question

Edit: Updated - Me -

The next coach will either be fired or retired.

That’s the job here now. There isn’t any higher to go.

6 months because of LSU fan's unrealistic expectations.

I'd take 2 mediocre years, 1 dream year followed by 2 abominations...

Coach O immediately divorced his wife after the national championship game to chase blond headed co-eds who subsequently posted post coital photos on Instagram while lying in a bed with Ed half nude. Threatening to fight fans of opposing teams, fans of LSU at fishing retreats and anyone who wants to say anything negative about him. Running Dave Aranda off because he felt threatened. Trying to have casual sex with the pregnant wife of an LSU employee.

Yeah. Unrealistic expectations.

Interestingly, I feel like Matt Rhule, if he comes back to college, stays at the college level forever.

He's a damned good coach.

He could easily be the next Nick Saban type character, who just crushes it at the college level for 15+ years.

Hard to say Rhule wouldn't be the single best coach LSU could hire, besides Saban himself.
